CCCSA is a CAMS Affiliated Club

Postby MWP » Tue Feb 02, 2010 7:44 pm

For the second year now, we (the club) are CAMS affiliated.

First, CAMS is the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport.
Best way to think of CAMS, is as motorsport insurance agency that also tries to promote motorsport.

So what does club affiliation mean?
The main advantages are:
Affiliation means that our club has a type of insurance for any event we run.
It allows our financial members to participate in CAMS sanctioned motorsport events (like track days, hillclimbs, motorkhanas, etc).
We (the club) can officially vote on various CAMS issues if required.

Have any CAMS related questions? Ask them here.

come along to a meeting. they're very relaxed :)

getting your CAMS licence is a very simple form to fill out.

just under 70 bucks will get you a level 2 non speed licence, which will let you compete in motorkhana and khanacross.

around 110 bucks will get you your level 2 speed licence.

$35 for club membership.
