Just got an acceptance letter for the windy point hillclimb which is on the 12th of april now.

Our calendar shows Collingrove Wintercup round 1 on April 13th - this is incorrect. It was on yesterday - March 30th. Our Datsun (not me driving though) did a 35.9.

Yeah, the calendar is from the final draft, a lot of dates are wrong.
The problem is its so damn difficult to get the correct dates from CAMS.

I have been accepted for the Windy Point Hillclimb & Sprint event as part of the Adelaide Motorsport Festival. A bit expensive but will give me a motorsport fix to last a few months!

Sounds like fun Ken - how much was the entry fee?

Look out for bikes - they seem to like that road

Geoff around $720 for both.....as I said not cheap.....but not sure if I will do Legend of the Lakes this year or not so maybe a bit of a trade off. (Scouting for bikes )

Wow - that's about my annual entry fee budget for 9 or 10 events....

Should be a good event though.

Got alma this weekend and windies next weekend all on a borrowed engine, turning into a very expensive month for motorsport :\

Yeah Geoff. I used to do gymkhana, autocross & rallycross events which are cheaper years ago when I lived in Singapore, but decided circuit racing (then) & tarmac rally, hillclimb & sprints were my passion. The Adelaide Motorsport weekend will be a 'bucket list' tick, & I don't have to travel far to do it.
